What a magical time of year it always was. How much fun we had as a family exchanging gifts with each other on Christmas Eve. The one gift we could open early!
Remember how it drove us kids crazy having to wait for Dad to set up the camera? Seems like it took him all morning to get it set up just right. Maybe I need to get a slow camera to build the anticipation and make it more exciting.
Then a nice breakfast of whatever was in our stocking and maybe some cold cereal too. There was always snow - especially in Woodland Hills. Snow definitely helps add some Christmas magic.
But most of all it was always such a good time just being together and having fun with my brother and sisters and Mom and Dad! I wish we had grown up a little further from friends so we all could have played together more instead of going our separate ways. What a great family we have!!
